What is a Squeaky Book?
The name Squeaky Books originated from the quote:
"I couldn’t remember the last time I had stayed up into the squeaky hours of the night because I couldn’t put a book down, and that was a tragedy." ~Shannon Hale
Over time, I have developed my own definition for a squeaky book:
Squeaky Book [skwee-kee bŏŏk]
-Noun
1. A book that is so good and riveting, it hurts you to put it down.
2. A book that is "squeaky clean." Containing no extreme or "unnecessary" profanity, or vivid sexual scenes.
-----However, readers should note that a Squeaky Book may not be for all audiences.
