Stork Winners!

Wow! I love to see how much support Stork got in this contest! It's a fab book. I nominated it for Cybils (speaking of which, have you nominated some books? No?! Do it now!!).

Before I announce the winners, I just want to say:

Happy Book-Birthday to Wendy Delsol and Stork!!!
Yup. It's now in stores! Go get it!

Winner time!

The winner of the random drawing is...

Hunter Noble

The winners of the extra-entries giveaway are:

Savannah Smith
If she were a bird she'd be a Penguin

Melissa Gilleland♥
If she were a bird she'd be a Hummingbird

Congrats winners! I have e-mailed you. You have 48 hours to respond before I pick new winners. I'll be sending your addresses off to the awesome Candlewick Press, and they'll be sending you your finished copies of Stork.

For those of you who didn't win, don't be sad! Stork was released TODAY! Go out and get yourself a copy!

And, if you're curious, I made a pie chart with all the different birds people said they would be. Some of those in the "other" category (AKA, those that were only named once or twice) were: Blue Heron, Canary, Crane, Dodo, duck, Falcon, Kestrel, Kirkland Warbler, lovebird, Parakeet, peregrine falcon, phoenix, Puffin, Summer Tanager, Toucan.

In case you were curious, I'd be a magpie. They're striking, but they aren't afraid to dig in the dirt or get down to business. They also collect sparkly things, like me. :)

I made this on Sunday, so if you entered after that you aren't in the Pie Chart (but don't worry, you were still entered in the giveaway). Oh. And I just noticed that it says peguin instead of penguin, but I'm too lazy to fix it. ;)

Cool, eh? Congrats winners!
