This book is just as wild as the first. More sci-fi, though. I'm gonna keep it short and sweet: this series rocks. They're both about 600 pages long, but I'm enthralled throughout the entire books. This is good sci-fi stuff. But if you don't like sci-fi, you won't like this.

I was so enthralled in gone that I powered through it in about 2 hours. I absolutely can not stand most sci-fi, but these were absolutely marvelous. think that any fantasy fan will still enjoy these books, no matter how much sci-fi is in them. I love michael Grant. I can't wait for the final four instalments of the sries.
