Bewitching Season isn't exactly original, it's the story of two teenage witches growing up in Victorian-era England. Their magical governess is stolen, love potions go awry, and madness reigns. I got really frustrated with some of the characters occasionally, but overall I found the book enjoyable. It's a light read that you shouldn't expect much originality or brilliance from, but it's fun enough.
AH! If that picture doesn't give you nightmares, nothing will. ;)
I read this book for my AP English class. It was bearable, but never something I would have read of my own free will. That's all I'm gonna say.
What’s happening in New York City?
A Haunted Mansion.
Six fierce friends with fiercer secrets.I really liked this book. I wasn't too thrilled with the first Kiki Strike because I thought it was just trying to put too much into one novel, but this one was great. It stuck with one storyline, had a great exposition and rising action, and the whole time I was wrapped up in the story much more than I was with the first one.
The ending drove me crazy! That's a horrible way to end a book! (I don't mean the ending was horrible, it was just nerve-wracking).
Really good. It's worth reading the first one so you can read this one. And the first one's really not that bad.

The Winter of Our Discontent
"But enough so you didn't invest."
"No, I didn't."
"Did you advise my father about the investments?"
There were other meme's I was tagged for, but I'm already feeling overwhelmed so... that's it. I should be posting more regularly now, though.
Then it all fell apart today (and we open today). One of the actresses came and told me that she can't do the show because she has a dance recital! And then my drama teacher (who I think is fantastic) ran out of the room during class because she was about to cry over all the stress. She has to build the sets and run almost every fine artsy thing that goes on in the school.
Anyway. I'll have to play that one girl's part tonight. I didn't mean to mope or rant here, but it just feels better to type it out, ya know?
We gotta buy our drama teacher some flowers. She deserves them.
If you're local, come see it. But I won't be able to post often.

I've started a newsletter! You can sign up in the sidebar. Just tell me your name and E-mail address. Your name doesn't have to be your real name, not at all. And I promise I will never give out your e-mail without your consent. You will not be spammed.
Okay. I just wanted to make that really, really clear.
My newsletter won't be anything big. Just a list of the latest releases, contests going on in the blogoverse, and stuff. I plan on hosting my own contest soon too! w00t!
Don't feel like you have to sign up (though it would make me feel warm and fuzzy if you did). I recognize that a lot of you don't want to give out your e-mail. But if you have a second anonymous account like I do, go for it!
Thanks a bunch guys (and gals),
Good times to be had by all. :)
